How It All Began

Calvin's Computer Graphics came into existance in 1997. It all took place in Gary, Indiana at the Main Branch Library. Calvin had a determination to have a foundation for his children. Calvin would spend hours and days at the library researching ways of starting a small business. During his search people would come in the library and ask whoever they saw on the computers and/or typewriters, if someone could do a resume for them. Not too many people were generous to help. They approached Calvin and asked him if he knew how to do a resume. He told them and did it for them. To him it was no big deal. A week or so later they came back after they had recieved the job and gave Calvin a token of thanks. Computers & typing was just a hobby that Calvin enjoyed. And click..."Why not take my hobbies and make them into a career?" He asked himself. So his research became very interesting. Calvin put together a porposal to get a Small Business Grant. Business became very known to the community. And on February 27, 1997 - Calvin's Computer Graphics was born.
